Barbour Memorial Hall is an ideal place to host your event. Located 4 miles from Dumfries in the beautiful village of Glencaple, we have a large main hall (capacity around 100 seated) and a smaller back hall (capacity 20-30). The hall has undergone extensive renovation 2022 – 2025 to modernise and improve our spaces. This has included a new insulated roof, and insulation and re-render of all external walls. We’ve also added three windows to the west elevation of the main hall. This has made an incredible difference to the space – filling it with light and making it much more attractive for daytime use. A new kitchen has been installed and all toilet areas have been upgraded, including a new disabled toilet space. The internal renovation works will continue, as funds allow.
